Be a youthful impact as a Skills Coach with Canucks Autism Network, where you will engage autistic participants through sports. This role involves skill development and community-building.
As a Skills Coach, you will create engaging lesson plans and utilize adaptive coaching strategies to meet diverse participant needs. Supporting a community of autistic individuals, you will work closely with Onsite Supervisors and assist in managing class activities. Join our team to lead joyful learning experiences.
Key Responsibilities:
• Develop lesson plans aligned with participant needs
• Adapt activities using autism-informed approaches
• Facilitate a welcoming learning workplace
• Partner with supervisors to enhance participant support
• Oversee activity scheduling and implementation
Requirements:
• One year of experience in coaching youth sports
• Current Standard First Aid and CPR-C Certification
• Must undergo a explicit criminal record check
• Ability to skate forwards and backwards for skating programs
• Dedicated to creating an enjoyable experience for all
