Lead transformative housing initiatives at First Light as the Manager of Indigenous Housing and Inclusion. Drive impactful program operations and foster community engagement in a culturally safe environment.
In this leadership role, you will operationalize First Light's Indigenous Housing portfolio while supporting both transitional and affordable housing solutions. Your commitment to cultural safety and strong communication skills will ensure programs are trauma-informed and responsive to community needs. Collaborating with the Director, you will also monitor housing outcomes and nurture partnerships to enhance housing access for Indigenous communities.
Key Responsibilities: • Oversee daily operations of housing programs • Ensure culturally grounded,
trauma-informed services • Monitor program outcomes and address service needs • Support staff development and recruitment initiatives • Cultivate partnerships with community organizations
Requirements: • Diploma or degree in Social Work or related field • Robust understanding of Indigenous cultures and histories • Experience in housing or community services management • Proven leadership and problem-solving abilities • Valid driver’s licence and First Aid/CPR certification
