AHS is seeking a dedicated Food Service I professional for its Patient Food Services team. This casual/relief role is focused on food preparation, serving, and sanitation in healthcare settings. In this position, you will handle a variety of food-related tasks in accordance with AHS standards. Your responsibilities will include preparing and serving meals, cleaning dining and cooking areas, and ensuring all hygiene procedures are followed. Solid physical stamina is necessary due to the nature of the job. Key Responsibilities:
- Perform routine food packaging and portioning
- Prepare meals according to established guidelines
- Serve food to patients and maintain cleanliness
- Sanitize all equipment and serving areas daily
- Assist in managing meal service efficiently Requirements:
- Grade 10 education or equivalent
- Capable of lifting 46lbs and pushing/pulling meal carts
- Must remain active during shifts
- Complete criminal record check required
