Become a Wastewater Technician with the Town of Bradford West Gwillimbury, focusing on maintaining wastewater operations for our growing community. This role requires teamwork and technical knowledge of various treatment systems.
As part of the Wastewater Division, you'll oversee the daily operations of the Class IV Water Pollution Control Plant. Candidates should hold an MOE licensing and show a commitment to further professional development in wastewater operations. Interaction with the community and contractors is a key part of the role, enhancing our service delivery.
Key Responsibilities:
• Operate Class IV Water Pollution Control Plant processes
• Conduct sewer flushing and maintenance using the Vactor truck
• Perform lab tests and analyses continuously




• Ensure operational integrity of wastewater systems
• Promote positive relations with customers and stakeholders
Requirements:
• Valid MOE Wastewater Treatment and Collection OIT license
• Environmental Technology diploma/degree preferred
• Experience with CCTV inspection and SCADA systems
• Flexible availability for emergency on-call duties
• Clean Class “G” driver’s license required
