Position Summary The Finance Officer is responsible for supporting the effective and accurate financial management of the Foundation and its projects in compliance with the Foundation’s policies and procedures, donor requirements, and applicable local laws and regulations. The Finance Officer works closely with the Finance, Projects, and Administration teams to ensure that financial transactions, records, and reports are properly maintained and processed in a timely and accurate manner. The Finance Officer supports the implementation and monitoring of project budgets, tracks expenditures, reviews budget lines, and assists in identifying budget variances and potential over- or under-spending. The position is responsible for ensuring that financial transactions are properly recorded, adequately supported by relevant documentation, and appropriately authorized in accordance with established financial procedures.
