Pinchin is seeking a Project Technologist to join our Environmental Due Diligence team in Ottawa. The role reports to the Operations Manager. Role Overview The Project Technologist, Environmental Due Diligence & Remediation (EDR), supports a wide range of environmental assessment and remediation projects related to property transactions, redevelopment, and regulatory compliance. This role works closely with Project Managers and senior technical staff to deliver Phase I Environmental Site Assessments, as well as provide support on Record of Site Condition (RSC) work, and remediation and monitoring programs across Ontario and Quebec. Your Role and Action Phase I Environmental Site Assessments Conduct historical and regulatory research Prepare, review,
and edit technical reports Complete field investigations related to the assessment of sites Liaise with subcontractors Support project scope development and implementation Work in a self-lead and team environments Liaise with clients, financial institutions and other potentially involved stakeholders, including regulatory body representatives Begin to develop and maintain positive client relationships What You’ll Bring To Pinchin The ideal candidate brings a strong blend of technical capability, curiosity, and accountability, The ideal candidate brings a blend of strong technical capability, curiosity and accountability along with a genuine interest in creating positive outcomes for clients, communities, and the environment. Bachelor’s Degree in Environmental Science or Engineering and/or Diploma in Environmental Science 1 to 3 years' related experience Excellent writing, editing, technical and organizational skills along with the ability to problem solve Strong communication and interpersonal skills for client relations Ability to thrive in a team workplace Proficiency with Microsoft Suite including Word, Excel, Power Point and Outlook Valid driver's license, insurance & personal vehicle is required (work related travel expenses will be compensated) Availability to work outside of core business hours For Current Employees Current employees are encouraged to speak with their HR Advisor for information on the application process.
