Enhance Canada’s maritime capabilities as a Naval Architect focused on the design of six Program Icebreakers for the Canadian Coast Guard. Lead structural design and testing efforts in a team-oriented workplace.This position will have you supporting the Engineering Department in producing and reviewing vital engineering specifications. You will help ensure compliance with safety regulations and quality standards, while guiding technicians and engineers to meet project objectives on schedule. Your expertise in naval architecture will be essential for the successful integration of creative design solutions.Key Responsibilities:
Oversee engineering drawings and support design efforts
Assist with the testing and development of engineering solutions




Ensure adherence to regulations and best practices
Collaborate closely with various stakeholders
Supervise engineering staff and oversee project detailsRequirements:
Bachelor's degree in Naval Architecture
Minimum five years’ experience in the field
Knowledge of engineering design principles
Strong organizational capability for complex projects
