Senior Graphic Designer & Team Lead – Alrode, Alberton Full‑time | Graphics Department A leading product‑based organisation is seeking an experienced Senior Graphic Designer & Team Lead to oversee the full graphic design workflow and manage a team of three designers. This role requires solid creative ability, leadership skills, and excellent organisational capability. Key Responsibilities Lead and manage a team of three graphic designers Oversee daily workflow, task prioritisation, and deadline management Provide mentorship, performance feedback, and skills development Ensure adherence to internal design processes, procedures, and approval steps Manage end‑to‑end graphic workflow across all projects Perform quality checks on all artwork before production or publication Lead packaging design, including supplier liaison and artwork approvals Design and produce the annual product catalogue Manage monthly promotional design from concept to rollout Create signage and maintain brand consistency across all visual communication Coordinate with suppliers on packaging specifications, die lines, sampling,



and corrections Oversee design‑related equipment and ensure software compatibility Troubleshoot minor technical issues and coordinate support Minimum Requirements 5–7 years graphic design experience, with 2+ years in a senior or team‑lead role Advanced proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite, CorelDraw, Illustrator Strong packaging design and printing process knowledge Experience in catalogues, promotional campaigns, and artwork workflows Excellent time management and organisational skills High attention to detail and ability to work under pressure Strong leadership and people‑management skills Ability to manage multiple projects under tight deadlines Advantageous Experience in product‑based or retail environments Photography, video editing, or digital asset management skills Familiarity with workflow or project‑management platforms Personal Attributes Creative thinker with a strong eye for design Calm, solutions‑focused, and methodical Strong communication skills Process‑driven and committed to high standards Encourages teamwork and growth #J-18808-Ljbffr
