Learning & Development AssociateA learning & development associate will enhance the competencies of employees by designing and conducting branch‑training programs that align with the company’s core values. The associate is responsible for performing training needs assessments, designing, delivering curriculum and learning materials, managing all phases of branch training, and facilitating webinars and workshop‑style training sessions.ResponsibilitiesCollaborate with PCG teams and RJL Divisions to identify target audience’s training requirements and needsDevelop create and deploy a variety of types of learning materialsWrite/produce standardized business process user manuals (job aids)Assist with layout, editing, and organizing of content as requiredEvaluate the effectiveness of training by measuring and evaluating feedback from participantsDesign assessments for verifying learner knowledge and capability and provide summarized reportingEnsure training content is kept up to date on a regular basis by deploying a review/update process that is maintainedIdentify training needs by evaluating strengths and weaknessesDeliver training coursesDeliver “ad hoc” training as required/scheduled for recent recruits across the Raymond James’ business linesPeriodically evaluate ongoing programs to ensure that they reflect any changesStay abreast of the new trends and tools in employee developmentOther duties as assignedQualificationsPost‑secondary education in learning principles and/or certification in adult continuing education or instruction skills is an assetExperience in the financial services or brokerage industry requiredProven experience in designing multiple training events in a corporate settingKnowledge of instructional design theory and learning principlesFamiliarity with traditional and modern training methods, tools and techniquesSound decision making and organizational skillsAbility to apply adult learning principlesAbility to think critically and ask targeted questions to determine needs and respond appropriatelyExperience with multiple delivery methods, including e‑learning initiativesExperience in a boardroom training environmentProficiency in business process concepts (i.E. workflow diagrams, process mapping techniques)Excellent planning abilities, including project management basicsSuperior interpersonal, written and verbal communication skillsFrench language skills is an assetBenefits & CompensationFlexible workstyles, a competitive compensation and benefits package.
