Sales Representative – BRP & John Deere Turf Equipment

We are currently looking for a friendly, motivated John Deere and BRP Sales Representative to join our Summerside, PEI team.

Compensation is a base salary supplemented by commission.

Purpose:
Sells new and used BRP powersports equipment, and new and used John Deere turf equipment to new and existing customers.

Responsibilities:

- Represents the company for the sale of machinery to customers in a defined sales area
- Maintains current product knowledge on features and benefits of all equipment potentially salable by the dealership
- Monitors competitive activity/products and timely communicates to management, accordingly
- Maintains all customer information in assigned territory for sales management
- Knows and follows a defined sales process
- Assists with the preparation and execution of customer events
- Conducts new equipment field demonstrations
- Monitors trends in customer’s business activities and timely communicates to management




- Maintains current knowledge of financing options to assist customers with securing the purchase of recent and used goods
- Attends applicable sales training events/seminars
- Working with Parts and Service departments, recommends and encourages the sale of parts and service products
- Ensures exceptional client experience
- Commitment to the Green Diamond, BRP, and John Deere brand

Requirements:

- 1 – 2 years sales experience preferred
- High School diploma
- Knowledge of agricultural equipment, turf equipment, or farming and operational practices an asset
- Knowledge of BRP (Bombardier Recreational) equipment an asset
- Ability to use standard desktop load applications such as Microsoft Office and internet functions required
- Ability to work flexible hours
- Excellent customer relationship skills
- Ability to analyze and interpret basic sales reports

Salary Range: $40,000/year – $65,000/year

The compensation range reflects expected earnings (base salary + commission), top performers may earn more through the commission structure.
