We are looking for a SME who can help us move our Industrial Instrumentation Certificate from a traditional instrumentation curriculum toward a modern, industry-aligned Industrial Instrumentation and Automation learning pathway that prepares learners for both today’s workplace and the evolving industrial environment. The ideal SME possesses industry experience, technical leadership, curriculum/training experience and awareness of emerging technologies. The engagement would initially focus on a

comprehensive curriculum and market review , followed by recommendations and support for the redesign of the Industrial Instrumentation suite. We are looking for an experienced industry qualified with10 years of relevant industrial experience, preferably with significant recent experience in one or more of the following environments: Oil and gas / petrochemical Energy and power generation Manufacturing Chemical/process industries Process control Mining or other heavy industrial environment Contract type:

SAIT is located on the traditional territories of the Niitsitapi (Blackfoot) and the people of Treaty 7 which includes the Siksika, the Piikani, the Kainai, the Tsuut’ina and the Îyârhe Nakoda of Bearspaw, Chiniki and Goodstoney. We are situated in an area the Blackfoot tribes traditionally called Moh’kinsstis, where the Bow River meets the Elbow River. We now call it the city of Calgary, which is also home to the Métis Nation of Alberta, Region 3.
