Responsibilities
Plan and conduct volleyball coaching sessions for groups of various youth ages
Teach and demonstrate proper techniques and skills in the specific sport
Develop training programs and practice schedules
Provide feedback and guidance to athletes to help them improve their performance
Motivate and inspire athletes to reach their full potential
Ensure the safety of all participants during training sessions and competitions
Collaborate with other coaches and staff to coordinate team activities
Set up and take down of all equipment required on courts
Supervise and direct assistant coaches and volunteers
Shifts will be evenings and weekends

Pay: $19.50-$21.50 per hour

Requirements
Previous experience as a sports coach or athlete in the sport of volleyball
Previous experience working with youth is considered an asset.
Training or certification with the NCCP is considered an asset.
Solid knowledge and understanding of the rules, strategies, and techniques of the sport
Ability to effectively communicate and educate athletes of all ages and skill levels
Excellent interpersonal skills to build rapport with athletes, parents, and staff
Organizational skills to plan and manage training sessions
