Duties Operation, maintenance, repair and renovation of equipment and systems, including high-pressure hot water and steam boilers, heat distribution systems, refrigeration and air-conditioning systems, potable water storage tanks, water distribution networks, fire pumps, heat pumps, standby diesel generators, wastewater stabilization ponds, as well as mechanical systems, components and installations that ensure a healthy setting and appropriate indoor conditions for occupants, managers, staff and inmates at Correctional Service Canada (CSC) institutions. Work environment The Technical Services of institutions in the Quebec region at the Correctional Service of Canada is a stimulating and dynamic environment and his mission is to ensure the operation, compliance and sustainability of the prison complex. Minimum Power Engineer Certification requirement is fourth ( 4th) class, with a third (3rd) class or better required at some sites. EXPERIENCE:Experience operating a high-pressure steam or hot water plant,



or an energy distribution facility within a manufacturing, industrial, or institutional environment.
