REGISTERED PRACTICAL NURSE

Home: Shelburne

Location: Shelburne

Hourly Wage:starting at $31.47

Status: Full time

Schedule: 2pm-10pm

Reports to: Director of Care

The RPN plays a pivotal role in enriching the lives of residents by supporting the LTC Home in the administration of medications, treatments, and assessments.



This position actively participates in all multidisciplinary meetings to ensure excellence in resident care and uphold the quality of nursing practice in accordance with:

• College of Nurses of Ontario Standards
• Long-Term Care Standards
• Southbridge Care Homes Standards

Key Responsibilities:

• Ensure resident care is provide with established nursing standards and principles, physicians’ orders and administrative policies, as well as observe, report and record vital signs, symptoms and conditions of residents, and initiate remedial health measures where appropriate. Assure observance of required techniques in nursing care.
