This position involves supervising family visits at our Family Learning Place while implementing culturally respectful practices. Your commitment to supporting children's wellbeing and maintaining a trauma-informed setting is essential for effective family engagement.
Key Responsibilities:
• Monitor and supervise family visits to ensure safety
• Document observations for internal and ministry records
• Adhere to program policies and safety standards
• Foster a welcoming atmosphere for families
• Implement trauma-informed approaches in all interactions
Requirements:
• Requires a minimum Grade 12 education or GED
• Prior experience in human services, social work, or related fields
• Familiarity with mental health and community support systems
• Competency in documentation and Microsoft Office applications
• Must have a valid driver’s license and current CPR/First Aid certification
