Take charge of private events at YMCA Camp Elphinstone as the Outdoor Event Coordinator. This temporary, full time position runs from September to November, focusing on high-quality participant experiences.

You will work closely with the management team to ensure effective planning and execution of weddings and retreats while supervising frontline staff teams. The role emphasizes safety, communication, and attention to detail, ensuring each event is memorable for participants.

Key Responsibilities: • Act as primary contact for private rental event guests • Develop and manage event schedules and staff placements • Facilitate staff training and oversee in office event execution • Ensure compliance with YMCA safety and programming standards • Interact positively with children and adults during events

Requirements: • At least 3 years of applicable experience in customer service • Previous supervisory role experience • Solid administrative and scheduling skills • Standard First Aid & CPR-C certification required • Must possess Class 5 BC Driver’s License or equivalent
