By applying to this job posting, you will join the Enterprise Chief Controls Office (ECCO), a centralized first line of defense group dedicated to embedding a culture of risk ownership and operational excellence while positioning itself for sustainable growth.

This posting is for a 4-months Winter 2027 Student placement with a start date of January 2027, and end date of April 2027. In order to be eligible for this 4-months Student position, you must either: Be returning back to school after the work term end-date of April 2027; or If you are not returning back to school (i.e. are graduating in April 2027), you must require the full 4-months work term as a mandatory component to in order to graduate successfully. Please ensure that you meet these eligibility requirements before applying - candidates who apply but are found to be ineligible are not able to be considered.

What You'll Do

- Develop regulatory remediation status reports and track project phases
- Create and maintain team documentation, procedures, training materials, and communications
- Co‑lead management action plans and provide strategic oversight for remediation execution
- Provide guidance to stakeholders on tracking remediation activities in compliance with applicable laws and regulations
- Lead discussions on regulatory issues and develop thematic observations and recommendations
- Support planning, execution, and delivery of regulatory portfolios within ECCO
- Partner across first, second,



and third lines of defense to ensure program coordination
- Develop and deliver training sessions to elevate risk awareness across teams
- Work with operational and functional specialists to implement regulations into bank processes
- Foster a culture of compliance across the organization

What You Need to Succeed

Must-Have:

- Currently enrolled at a Canadian post‑secondary institution in a Risk, Finance, Business or related field
- Leadership acumen and passion for dynamic environments
- Change agility and adaptability to evolving regulatory requirements
- Strong analytical thinking and problem‑solving capabilities
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong MS Office skills (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)

Nice-to-Have:

- Experience supporting regulatory and audit engagements
- Project management proficiency, including the ability to plan, execute, and oversee risk management initiatives
- Experience designing and implementing AI Agents & Models
- Training design and development experience
