As a Shipbuilder, you’ll support the trades teams and keep the yard moving by reading and interpreting drawings and work orders; assisting with painting, installing insulation, pre‑cutting cabling, and driving trucks; performing metal finishing such as grinding and making, cleaning, and polishing bevels; maintaining housekeeping standards in tanks, vessel interiors, shops, trailers, and washrooms while handling waste; and managing the handling and movement of materials (cement, sand, snow, grass, water, and more). You will also ensure quality control by reporting any non‑conformities, set up and maintain tools and equipment, operate forklifts and other mobile equipment, and carry out any other related duties assigned by your supervisor, in full compliance with our quality standards. You must be available for all shifts.



While we consider your schedule preferences (day, evening, weekend) when creating schedules, they cannot be guaranteed. Compensation $31.66/hour for the first 1,000 hours, then $34.99/hour. Overtime paid at double time.
