Drive positive change in family dynamics as a Family Support Specialist at Eagle Heart Centre Inc. This role provides intensive support to children and families through advocacy and cultural safety practices.
In this critical position, you will be part of a compassionate, multidisciplinary team dedicated to promoting child safety and empowering families. Your work will involve supervised family time, follow-up support based on social services case plans, and collaboration with various stakeholders. A background in human services or child development will enhance your contributions to the successful implementation of interventions.
Key Responsibilities:
• Deliver hands-on support during supervised family time • Advocate effectively for children and families • Coordinate services with multidisciplinary professionals • Maintain thorough documentation of case plans • Ensure practices are culturally secure and trauma-informed
Requirements: • High school diploma with post-secondary education preferred • Experience in youth care or family support setting • Familiarity with child protection and relevant legislation • Valid CPR/First Aid Certification mandatory • Valid Driver’s License preferred
