Hours: 0.5 FTE
Shifts: Days/Afternoons 0800-1600, 1100-1900
Status: Permanent Part Time

Position Summary
The Support Partner is a valuable member of our team, playing a critical role in assisting direct patient caregivers and managing the Clinic’s functionality.
Duties
- Provides assistance to direct patient caregivers through the performance of specific activities related to the maintenance of the Clinic, including cleaning, disinfecting and sterilizing instruments
- Setting up clinic areas
- Transporting X-rays, charts, etc.
- Patients support activities
- Environmental support activities
- Transportation support activities
- Other duties directly related with the proper maintenance of the Clinic
Qualifications
- Completion of a secondary school diploma program
- Experience with housekeeping,
portering and/or unit aide
- Evidence of ability to lift heavy objects
- Good interpersonal and customer service skills
- Good verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to work independently and as a team player
- Evidence of good independent initiative
- Ability to work effectively with minimal supervision
- Good organization and time management skills
- Previous Hospital experience
- Experience in a teaching hospital environment preferred
