Role Title: Investment Operations Officer

Overview

We’re seeking a motivated Investment Operations Officer to support our dynamic team in Toronto. This integral role offers a fantastic opportunity to contribute to financial operations within a collaborative environment, with potential for contract extension and future full-time opportunities. What You’ll Do:

- Process and complete back-office financial requests and transactions with precision
- Review and update data within internal systems, ensuring accuracy and compliance
- Collaborate effectively with internal stakeholders and team members during daily huddles and meetings
- Support the team by handling transaction validation, escalation of issues, and contribution to process improvements
- Contribute to operational projects that enhance service quality and streamline workflows
- Manage work diligently to meet service level agreements and deadlines while safeguarding confidentiality

Required Skills and Qualifications:

- Proven proficiency in MS Excel, including VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP, Pivot Tables, and data analysis functions
- Strong verbal and written communication skills for clear, qualified interaction
- Ability to perform under pressure in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
- Self-motivated, goal-oriented,



and able to work independently or as part of a team
- Knowledge of Money Movement, registered and non-registered account products, and general securities asset awareness

Nice-to-Have Skills:

- Experience in banking or financial services operations
- Familiarity with wealth management industry and transfer processing systems
- Knowledge of registered and non-registered investment assets
- Completion of the Canadian Securities Course (CSC) or Canadian Investment Regulatory Exam (CIRE) are assets
- Understanding of global and wealth shared services platforms
