Job Description

In-Room Dining Captain

As In-Room Dining Captain, you will be a key leader in delivering a world class In-Room Dining experience at Fairmont Chateau Whistler. Reporting to the In-Room Dining Manager, you will oversee daily operations, mentor, and inspire team members, and ensure every guest receives timely, accurate, and memorable service.

This is a full-time, permanent position, beginning Winter 2026.

Starting rate of pay: $20.55 per hour

We recognize tenure through our compensation - hourly rates increase after 6 months and then yearly to three years. At three years the pay rate for this role would be $27.25.

Job Duties Include
Consistently offer professional, friendly and engaging service
Lead and manage day-to-day operations of the In-Room Dining department




Provide operational support to the management team and F&B; division
Assist guests regarding hotel facilities in an informative and helpful way
Ensure all accounts, billing, and room charges are accurate and timely

Qualifications
Previous customer related supervisory experience preferred
Food Protected Certification is required
Serving It Right Qualification Required
