About the Role

Our client is seeking a certified and experienced Real Estate Appraiser to join their team serving the Kimberley region. You will be responsible for providing accurate and objective valuations of residential and commercial properties for a variety of purposes, including lending, legal, and investment decisions. This role requires meticulous attention to detail, strong analytical skills, and a thorough understanding of appraisal principles and methodologies. The position involves significant fieldwork, site inspections, and detailed report writing, complemented by office-based analysis and client communication within the Northern Cape property market. You will play a vital role in ensuring fair market value assessments.

Key Responsibilities

- Conduct thorough property inspections, documenting physical characteristics, condition, and relevant features.
- Research and analyze comparable sales data, market trends, and economic factors influencing property values.
- Prepare comprehensive and accurate real estate appraisal reports according to industry standards and regulatory requirements.




- Utilize appraisal software and tools to perform valuations and manage case files.
- Provide expert testimony or clarification regarding appraisal reports when required.
- Maintain compliance with all ethical and professional standards of the appraisal profession.

Requirements

- Certified Real Estate Appraiser with valid credentials for the Northern Cape.
- Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in real estate appraisal.
- In-depth knowledge of appraisal principles, techniques, and relevant regulations.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with exceptional attention to detail.
- Proficiency in appraisal software (e.g., Appraise-It, TOTAL) and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Excellent report writing and communication skills.
