About the Position

We are looking for a hardworking and dependable Concrete Carpenter?s Helper to join our construction team. This is a hands-on position working alongside experienced crew members to build, set, strip, and maintain concrete forms on a variety of construction projects.

The ideal candidate is someone who takes pride in their work, is willing to learn, works well as part of a team, and is comfortable working outdoors in a physically demanding environment.

Responsibilities
Assist crew members with building, setting, and stripping concrete forms
Measure, cut, assemble, and move lumber and other forming materials
Help with layout and preparation of concrete formwork
Load, unload, and organize materials and tools
Operate basic hand and power tools under direction
Assist with bracing, shoring, and securing forms
Help prepare work areas for concrete placement
Maintain a clean, organized, and protected jobsite
Remove debris and excess materials from work areas
Perform other construction-related duties as directed

Qualifications
Previous construction or concrete experience is an asset,



but willing to train the right person
Basic understanding of hand and power tools
Physically capable of lifting and handling construction materials
Comfortable working outdoors in varying weather conditions
Reliable, punctual, and willing to work as part of a team
Solid work ethic and positive attitude
Ability to follow instructions and work safely
Valid driver's license
Own transportation to the jobsite

Physical Requirements

This is a physically demanding position requiring frequent standing, walking, bending, kneeling, lifting, carrying, and working with construction materials and tools.
