As part of a dedicated care team, you will work under the supervision of a Licensed Practical Nurse. Your role focuses on providing thorough personal care to enhance resident well-being, using knowledge from your Personal Care Aide certification. This position requires effective communication in English and teamwork to create a comfortable living workplace.
Key Responsibilities:
• Bathe, shower, and wash residents as per care plans
• Assist residents with transfers using designated safety equipment
• Support residents during meals with feeding assistance




• Administer routine treatments under Staff Nurse direction
• Accompany residents to social activities and therapies
Requirements:
• One year of experience in continuing care preferred
• Completion of a recognized PCA/HCA Certificate Course
• Active registration with Alberta's health care licensing
• Fluency in English, both oral and written
• Post-secondary education is an asset
