Part‑Time Oxford Learning Centre Tutors – English

Location: Oxford Learning South Surrey Grandview Heights, Surrey, British Columbia. Employment type: Part‑time. Pay: $20.00 per hour.

Oxford Learning South Surrey Grandview Heights is looking for upbeat, passionate, enthusiastic, and dynamic tutors to support students in English reading, writing, and elementary school math. Our programs offer individualized guidance for students seeking to improve academic skills and study habits.

Position Requirements

Oxford Learning Centre operates weekdays during after‑school and evening hours as well as Saturdays. Candidates must have a solid background in spoken and written English and be comfortable teaching up to Grade 8. This is an in‑person role at the Centre. Relocation packages are not available. Vulnerable sector screening is mandatory.

Education

• Working toward a bachelor’s degree or equivalent certification and/or experience in a related field.

Experience

• Strong English written and oral communication skills.


• Experience tutoring or teaching.


• Ability to multitask.

Responsibilities (Position Details)

• Teach up to three students at a time at different levels.


• Follow the Oxford Learning methodologies and philosophies.






• Fill in post‑lesson notes.


• Complete daily student communication updates.


• Maintain a friendly and professional manner at all times.

Schedule

• 3 pm to early evening based on student schedules.
