Join YMCA as a YPHD Programmer, implementing stimulating programs for children at local elementary schools. This role emphasizes safety, community, and child development during school hours.
We're inviting candidates for full-time and part-time positions from September 2026 to June 2027. As a YPHD Programmer, you'll focus on creating an engaging, safe workplace where children’s physical and emotional growth is encouraged. Your leadership will positively impact families and colleagues, contributing to YMCA's mission.
Key Responsibilities:
• Develop and run engaging programs enhancing children's development
• Create enriching play-based learning environments
• Supervise to ensure safety and engage children effectively




• Maintain records and complete required paperwork accurately
• Nurture relationships with families and community stakeholders
Requirements:
• High school diploma or equivalent education
• One year of relevant childcare experience
• Attention to detail and communication proficiency
• Valid First Aid and CPR certification required
• Background checks needed for candidates 18 and older
