About McClure Place

McClure Place Retirement Home is looking for a reliable and detail-oriented Part-Time Food Safety Attendant to join our team and help maintain a secure, clean, and high-quality dining environment for our residents.

Key Responsibilities
Monitor and record food temperatures according to food safety requirements.
Check refrigerators, freezers, and food storage areas.
Ensure food is properly labeled, dated, stored, and rotated.
Monitor expiry dates and maintain proper FIFO (First In, First Out) practices.
Assist with daily food safety and sanitation checks.
Ensure food preparation and dining areas are clean and properly sanitized.




Maintain food safety logs and required documentation.
Assist kitchen staff with following proper food handling and sanitation procedures.
Identify and report food safety concerns or hazards to the appropriate supervisor.
Help maintain clean, organized, and sanitary food storage areas.
Assist with cleaning and sanitation duties as required.

Qualifications
Food Safety Certification is an asset.
Solid attention to detail.
Reliable and responsible.

Schedule

This is a part time position working 25 days per week from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM. The schedule may vary depending on operational needs.
