The Aircraft Painter Prep Technician works within the Paint Shop to prepare aircraft and components, performing essential tasks like sanding, masking, and surface cleaning. You'll report to the Paint Shop Supervisor, ensuring all standards for quality finish are met while supporting colleagues during the painting process. This position also promotes a strong safety culture.

Key Responsibilities:



• Prepare aircraft surfaces through thorough cleaning and scuffing • Mask sensitive areas to prevent paint overspray • Assist in disassembly tasks related to painting • Maintain cleanliness of paint prep tools and areas • Inspect and report on surface quality before painting

Requirements: • High school diploma or higher required • Previous aircraft or similar painting experience preferred • Strong mechanical skills and tool safety knowledge • Excellent attention to detail for high-quality outcomes • Ability to work in a rapid-paced environment
