Work Setting:

Food service establishment

Responsibilities:
Supervise and co-ordinate activities of staff who prepare and portion food
Train staff in job duties, sanitation and safety procedures
Estimate ingredient and supplies required for meal preparation
Hire food service staff
Ensure that food and service meet quality control standards
Address customers' complaints or concerns
Maintain records of stock, repairs, sales and wastage
Establish work schedules
Maintain professionalism in customer service

Supervision:

Staff in various areas of responsibility

Work Conditions:

Fast-paced workplace, standing for extended periods, physically demanding

Requirements:
Education: Secondary (high)



school graduation certificate
Experience: 7 months to less than 1 year
Client focus, effective interpersonal skills, excellent oral communication
Flexibility, team player, initiative
Available for shift or on-call work

Employment Terms:

Day, Evening, Shift, Weekend; Overtime available

Salary:

$18.00/hour, 30 to 40 hours per week
