This Paralegal position entails sole responsibility for Accident Benefits files, focusing on litigation management from strategy to resolution. You'll work closely with clients and contribute to team knowledge sharing, ensuring productive file handling in adherence to deadlines and standards.
Key Responsibilities:
• Manage a targeted caseload of LAT Accident Advantages files • Ensure timely and efficient file maintenance and reporting • Develop and maintain precedents and litigation resources • Share updates on Accident Advantages jurisprudence with stakeholders • Participate in team initiatives and professional development
Requirements: • Paralegal degree or diploma with P1 LSO License preferred • Minimum 2 years in Insurance Defense or commercial litigation • Knowledge of License Appeal Tribunal procedures • Strong negotiation and communication skills • Ability to manage multiple priorities under pressure
