Our team works hard, celebrates wins together, and continually in personal and professional growth.About The RoleWe are seeking an experienced and motivated Bid & Proposal Writer to develop high-quality bids, proposals, and tender submissions for the Government of Canada. This role is ideal for someone with some experience responding to government solicitations who is eager to learn and grow. They would be ready to take ownership of end-to-end proposal development and bid responses, manage responses independently, and contribute to improving bid processes and win strategies.We're looking for someone personable, relationship-focused, and proactive; someone who can build and maintain trusted connections with our consultants while thriving in a small, close-knit supportive team.ResponsibilitiesWrite, edit, and review Government of Canada proposals, RFPs, RFQs, and other solicitationsTake ownership of assigned bid sections from initial outline through to final submissionTranslate complex information into clear, persuasive, and compliant responsesEnsure proposals fully meet federal RFP requirements and scoring guidelinesContribute to win themes, value propositions,
and federal bid strategiesMaintain and improve bid libraries, templates, and standard contentManage multiple deadlines in a fast-paced environmentManage on-contract resources and maintain strong, trusted consultant relationshipsEssential RequirementsPost‑secondary degree1–3 years producing qualified bid responses and proposalsStrong written communication, grammar, and attention to detailExperience interpreting federal government RFPs and evaluation criteriaStrong organizational and time‑management skillsComfortable working with stakeholders at various levelsStrong interpersonal skills to build and maintain trusted relationships with consultants and internal teamsTechnical or business writing experienceWorks independently in Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Outlook, Adobe Acrobat / PDF toolsDesirableSharePointExcel's pivot tables functionsKnowledge of the Government of Canada procurement and scoring methodologiesFamiliarity with bid management tools or CRMsOther: What Success Looks Like in the First 6 MonthsDeliver high-quality, compliant bid sections independentlyCollaborate effectively with SMEs, consultants, and internal teamsContribute to improvements in templates, content libraries, and bid processesTake initiative, adapt quickly, learn from mistakes, and iterateBe an active, positive contributor to the team culture, including participating in events and initiativesBenefits & PerksCompetitive group extended health and dental coverageHealth Care Spending
