As the Human Resource Advisor with the Construction Association of PEI , you provide staffing and recruitment support to CAPEI member companies.

This includes connecting job seekers with Association members, filling open positions, creating job descriptions and job postings, and screening resumes.

You are also responsible for CAPEI’s external communications, including creating social media content, managing social media accounts, and delivering presentations to schools and community groups.

Position Overview

- Provide staffing and recruitment support to CAPEI member companies.
- Connect job seekers with employment opportunities in the construction industry.
- Assist with job descriptions, online job postings, and resume screening.
- Manage CAPEI social media accounts.
- Create graphic design and promotional materials.
- Create video, photography, and drone content.
- Assist with the planning and execution of association events.
- Deliver presentations to schools and various groups on careers in construction.
- Set up and operate virtual reality equipment.

Qualifications





- Solid organizational and communication skills.
- Ability to multitask and adapt to changing priorities.
- Experience with social media and graphic design.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Comfortable working with students, job seekers, employers, and the general public.
- Experience with Virtual Reality (Meta) is an asset.

Required Qualifications

- Valid driver’s license and access to a vehicle.
- Must be a Permenant Resident, or citizen of Canada.

Position Details

- Schedule : Monday to Friday
- Wage : $19.00 – $21.00 per hour
- Location : Charlottetown, PEI (On-site)
- Travel : Travel is required for presentations, events, and other Association activities.
