Enhance community health as a Public Health Nurse with Families First at Southern Health-Santé Sud. This in-person role requires expertise in public health and a commitment to diverse communities across the region.
In this permanent, full-time position, you will focus on providing preventive health services and education to families. A minimum of two years of relevant public health experience is expected, including background in Parent Survey Training. This role emphasizes professional autonomy alongside inter-skilled collaboration.
Key Responsibilities:
• Deliver community-focused public health services • Conduct assessments using Parent Survey techniques • Partner with local health organizations for outreach • Maintain patient confidentiality and nursing standards • Promote health literacy across diverse populations
Requirements: • Two years of Public Health Nursing experience needed • Baccalaureate Degree in Nursing mandatory • Registered with College of Registered Nurses of Manitoba • Current Basic Life Support certification • Must possess strong analytical and oral skills
