Perform tasks in accordance with plans and specifications and in accordance with instructions received from the foreman and site supervisor
Perform excavation work and load or unload trucks using a hydraulic excavator
Start up machinery safely in accordance with operator manuals and work instructions
Ensure the machine is properly maintained and inspect its equipment daily to ensure it is in valuable condition, and complete the corresponding inspection report
Comply with site safety rules at all times and adopt safe, efficient, and rigorous work methods
Perform all other related tasks
Qualifications
At least 3 years of experience
Knowledge of GPS-guided equipment required
CCQ certifications related to the heavy equipment used
Good physical condition and quick reflexes to react rapidly in emergency situations
Good vision (wide field of view and good spatial awareness)
