The Town of Tillsonburg is currently seeking a Light Equipment Operator to enhance the upkeep of crucial infrastructures such as roads and drainage systems. This permanent full-time role involves engaging with various equipment while contributing to essential community services.
Working in the Operations and Development department, you will maintain and operate light machinery for tasks including winter snow clearing and road maintenance. Applicants are expected to have strong problem-solving skills along with at least two years of relevant experience in a public works workplace. A valid Ontario Class G Driver’s License is required, along with customer service expertise.
Key Responsibilities:
• Operate a variety of light equipment and machinery
• Perform snow removal and other seasonal duties




• Conduct repairs and maintain roadway infrastructure
• Ensure safety device installations are compliant
• Maintain Transfer Station cleanliness and records
Requirements:
• Completed high school or equivalent
• Minimum two years experience in a related setting
