Be a vital part of Conception Bay South's Recreation and Leisure team as a Lifeguard/Instructor. This role promotes pool safety while facilitating swimming instruction for community members.
The Town of Conception Bay South is hiring a permanent part time Lifeguard/Instructor to oversee pool safety and teach swim lessons. This position reports to the Aquatics Supervisor and is perfect for individuals with mandatory certifications such as CPR Level C and Standard First Aid. Your interpersonal and communication skills will help create a positive swimming environment.
Key Responsibilities:
• Oversee safety and well-being of all pool patrons
• Instruct swim lessons for assigned programs
• Collaborate with Aquatics Supervisor or Manager




• Deliver top-notch customer service to all visitors
• Maintain compliance with all safety protocols
Requirements:
• CPR Level C certification required for applicants
• Standard First Aid certification is a must
• Certification from Lifesaving Society as Swim Instructor
• Prior experience in swim instruction is preferred
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
