Shape the future of Game Studies as an Assistant Professor at the Mississauga campus. Engage in creative research, teach undergraduates, and contribute to program development.
We're seeking a dedicated academic leader to drive independent research and foster a robust Game Studies program. You will teach undergraduate courses in Mississauga and graduate courses at St. George, while supervising PhD dissertations and contributing service at all academic levels.
Key Responsibilities:
• Pursue innovative and independent research initiatives
• Establish a competitive, externally funded research program
• Teach undergraduate courses at the Mississauga campus
• Teach graduate courses at the St. George campus
• Supervise PhD dissertations, guiding student research
Requirements:
• PhD in English, Media Studies, or related areas
• Proven excellence in research and teaching in Game Studies
• Focus on storytelling and world-making in games
• Strong evidence of research and teaching accomplishments
• Commitment to fostering diversity and equity in academia
