THE OPPORTUNITY

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Journeyman Shift Mechanic based out of Fort St John, BC in a rotational camp mechanic position to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing on-site technical support, installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of natural gas engines and compressors at our client’s location. The successful candidate will possess strong technical expertise, excellent problem-solving skills, and the ability to communicate effectively with clients and team members.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: (Including but are not limited to the following)

- Journeyman Mechanic or Millwright
- 2 weeks on and 2 off shift




- Have excellent knowledge of natural gas engines, compressors, pumps and air compressors
- Cat and Waukesha VHP experienced required.
- Be motivated and well organized.
- Have strong customer service and communication skills.
- Be flexible with time scheduling to meet customer needs.
- Willing to comply with all company policies.
- Have a clean class 5 driver’s license.
- Available to participate in the on-call rotation

Preference will be given to applicants who have experience with Waukesha and Caterpillar engines and Recip. compressors.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS:

Lift and carry heavy items weighing up to 50 pounds. Stand, kneel, bend, stoop, move, and walk long distances and in small areas with many moving pieces/parts.
