About the Role
The Township of Oro-Medonte is currently seeking applicants for the position of Contract - Seasonal Parks & Facilities Labourer for the Operations and Community Services Department. Reporting to the Supervisor, Parks & Facilities, the Seasonal Parks & Facilities Labourer shall be responsible for assisting with the day-to-day maintenance of the Townships facilities and parks.

The ideal candidate must be able to work independently with the ability to lift up to 20 kilograms and climb to heights on a ladder. The candidate must be available to work flexible schedule including days, evenings, weekends, and holidays in a variety of environmental conditions. A valid Ontario Class "G" Drivers License and a satisfactory Drivers Abstract and Vulnerable Sector Screening are also required for this role.
This bargaining unit contract position offers a salary commensurate with experience and education (2026 wage schedule range of $22.95-28.56 per hour). The duration of this contract will be approximately 4 months, from September to December.
