About the Role

Our client, a vibrant charitable organization based in Kimberley , is looking for a creative and organized Non‑Profit Event Planner . This role is essential for conceptualizing, coordinating, and executing successful fundraising events, community gatherings, and awareness campaigns throughout the Northern Cape region. You will be responsible for managing all logistical aspects, from venue selection and vendor coordination to budget management and attendee engagement, ensuring each event contributes significantly to the organization's mission and financial goals. This hybrid role allows for adaptable planning and essential in‑person execution. Key Responsibilities

Plan, organize, and execute a variety of non‑profit events, including fundraising galas, workshops, and community outreach activities. Manage event budgets, negotiate with vendors, and secure necessary resources. Coordinate all logistical aspects of events, such as venue selection, catering, A/V, and staffing. Develop event marketing and promotion strategies to maximize attendance and engagement. Oversee event setup,



execution, and teardown, ensuring smooth operations on the day. Liaise with stakeholders, volunteers, and sponsors to ensure event success. Requirements

Proven experience in event planning and management, preferably within the non‑profit sector. Excellent organizational, project management, and multitasking skills. Strong budgeting and negotiation abilities. Creative thinking and problem‑solving skills. Ability to work effectively under pressure and meet deadlines.
