Competition: FAC - – Custodian 3

St. Albert Public Schools is currently recruiting a Full Time, Probationary, Custodian 3 for a work assignment with Facilities Services at Elmer S. Gish School.

Hours of Work

37.50 hrs./week; 7.5 hrs./day Monday-Friday; Full Time, Probationary

Hours will be

3:00pm to 11:00pm

Hourly Rate

$26.56 per hour, as per the CUPE Collective Agreement

Position Summary

The successful candidate will clean designated areas of our building, perform minor maintenance tasks, and maintain positive relationships with user groups under the direction of the Assistant Manager of Facilities Services.

Key Responsibilities
Clean and maintain assigned building areas
Perform minor maintenance tasks as required
Foster positive relations with building user groups




Work independently and efficiently with minimal supervision

Requirements
Valid security clearance
Own transportation
Ability to work independently
Provide work-related references

Preferred Qualifications
Minimum 2 years of building cleaning experience
Minimum 2 years of supervisory experience
Other skills and abilities applicable to the position.
