Become an integral part of the M’Chigeeng First Nation as an After-Care Worker specializing in substance use. This full-time position focuses on providing after-care services to families in need of support after addiction treatment. This role, reporting to the Mental Health and Addictions Supervisor, serves within the Child and Family Services Program. You will work with parents and youth to ensure continued support through service coordination and community resources. Your work will involve advocacy and promoting a healthy lifestyle for vulnerable families. Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver ongoing after-care support for families dealing with addiction
- Coordinate clients’ access to treatment programs
- Ensure discharge plans are effectively implemented




- Collaborate with other service providers for holistic care
- Develop community-focused prevention sessions and workshops Requirements:
- Diploma or degree in relevant field required
- At least two years of relevant experience
- Knowledge of addiction recovery and child welfare systems
- Ability to work flexible schedule as needed
