Application Information

In this role, you will:
Prepare engineering documents: drawings, change notices and production designs.
Conduct field work associated with surveying, mine ventilation and ground support.
Job shadow engineering or mining staff for on-the-job training.

Required:
bachelors degree in mine (or related) engineering;
two to six years of relevant work experience required;
eligible for registration with the association of skilled engineers and geoscientists of Saskatchewan (APEGS);
working towards registration as a Qualified Engineer;
strong communication, planning and organizational skills;
flexibility, teamwork and valuable time management; and
work a rotational schedule and commute to site by aircraft.

Recommended:
previous experience in an underground mining environment in a technical or operational role; and
familiarity with mining products or mining software (Deswik preferred).

Conditions of Employment:
pre-employment substance test.
