Key Responsibilities Sorting and organizing laundry items by type, color, and fabric Operating commercial laundry equipment, such as washing machines, dryers, and ironing machines Ensuring that all laundry items are properly cleaned, dried,
and pressed before being returned to guests or crew member Identifying and treating stains and other problem areas on clothing and linens Maintaining accurate records of laundry activities and inventory Ordering and maintaining an inventory of laundry supplies and equipment Coordinating with other departments, such as housekeeping, to ensure smooth operations Following all safety and sanitation protocols to ensure the health and safety of guests and crew members Assisting with other tasks as needed, such as cleaning or inventory management. Qualifications Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Strong attention to detail and ability to multitask in a fast-paced setting. Ability to work flexible hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays. In-depth knowledge of health and safety regulations and the ability to ensure compliance. Ability to work in a team-oriented environment Required to hold valid MED Domestic Vessel Safety certificate, Crowd and Crisis Management certificate, marine medical certificate, which employer will support arranging and subsidizing Working Conditions Constant standing and walking throughout shift Frequent lifting and carrying up to 50lbs Frequent kneeling, pushing, pulling and lifting Occasional ascending or descending ladders, stairs and ramps AtBridgemansServices Group we believe that each employee contributes directly to our growth and success.
