Role: Buyer – Supply Chain & Procurement

Location: Montreal/ Côte-de-liesse (ST-LAURENT)

Term: Contract

Bilingualism is mandatory

The Buyer I independently manages a portfolio of suppliers and purchase orders while ensuring supply continuity, contract compliance, and operational execution. The role requires proactive supplier management and ownership of material availability.

Key Responsibilities
Execute and manage purchase orders from requisition through delivery.
Monitor supplier performance and delivery commitments.
Manage shortages, past dues, and recovery plans.
Support current product introductions and program requirements.
Coordinate with planning, manufacturing, quality, and logistics teams.
Escalate supplier delivery and quality issues.
Ensure compliance with sourcing strategies and negotiated agreements.
Support RFQ and sourcing activities.

Education




DEC / Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Operations Management, Logistics, or a related discipline.
Procurement or supply chain certification considered an asset.

Experience
1–3 years of procurement, supply chain, planning, manufacturing, or logistics experience.
