About the Role

Our client is looking for a compassionate and skilled Remote Educational Play Therapist to provide virtual therapeutic support to children. In this role, you will utilize play-based techniques to help children navigate emotional, behavioral, and developmental challenges, all conducted through secure online platforms. You will collaborate with parents and educators to create a supportive environment for the child's well-being and development. This fully remote position is perfect for a therapist who is adept at building rapport and delivering impactful interventions virtually, from anywhere.

Key Responsibilities

- Conduct virtual play therapy sessions with children to address emotional and behavioral issues.
- Develop individualized treatment plans based on thorough assessments of each child's needs.
- Educate parents and caregivers on techniques to support their child's emotional development at home.
- Collaborate virtually with educators and other professionals to ensure a holistic approach to child care.
- Maintain confidential and detailed client records in compliance with ethical standards.




- Stay updated on the latest research and best practices in play therapy and child psychology.

Requirements

- Master's degree or higher in Play Therapy, Psychology, or a related mental health field.
- Registered Play Therapist (RPT) or equivalent certification.
- Minimum of 4 years of experience providing play therapy services, preferably with some experience in remote settings.
- Strong understanding of child development, psychopathology, and therapeutic techniques.
- Excellent communication, empathy, and virtual counseling skills.
- Proficiency with secure telehealth platforms and remote work tools.
