Trans Mountain, Canada’s leading pipeline operator, seeks a Cost Controller to oversee project budgets effectively and ensure fiscal governance. This in-office contract role focuses on collaboration and accuracy in cost management.

You will have a pivotal role in developing and controlling budgets while ensuring an auditable cost baseline. This position requires expertise in estimating, forecasting, budget control, and change management. Additionally, you will work closely with project teams and stakeholders to enforce project governance and deliver exceptional cost management.

Key Responsibilities:



• Coordinate estimate development across project teams • Support estimate validation and budgeting recommendations • Maintain project cost structures consistent with the Work Breakdown Structure • Develop cost management processes and templates • Analyze cost performance trends and forecast budgets

Requirements: • 8-12 years in project estimating and budget control • Advanced cost analysis and forecasting skills • Robust ability to communicate clearly with stakeholders • Experience with AACE cost management principles • Attention to detail and data integrity
