In this skilled role, you will independently operate hydrovac units while coordinating with HDD and locating teams. Your solid understanding of utility identification and dig safety will guide daily operations on busy construction sites. By conducting inspections and monitoring equipment, you’ll ensure optimal performance throughout the shift.
Key Responsibilities:
• Operate hydrovac equipment independently
• Daylight utilities and manage excavation zones
• Conduct thorough pre-shift and pre-trip inspections
• Monitor water levels and manage equipment performance
• Work closely with drill and locating crews
Requirements:
• Valid certifications confirmed before employment
• Significant hydrovac operating experience required
• Experience on underground utility projects preferred
• Knowledge of protected dig practices required
• Valid driver's license; Class 3 is an asset
