This full time Co-Op lasts up to 16 months and is perfect for students in their third year or higher pursuing a degree in Mining/Geological Engineering or similar fields. You'll shadow skilled professionals while directly engaging in safety initiatives, data collection, and mine planning tasks. The role promotes ideas exchange and operational data analysis across multiple departments.
Key Responsibilities:
• Shadow professionals to build job-relevant knowledge
• Conduct inspections and data collection underground
• Assist in mine planning and ventilation tasks
• Evaluate improvements for mining processes
• Contribute to geophysical surveys and data collection
Requirements:
• Third-year student in Mining/Geological Engineering preferred
• Civil or Mechanical Engineering students considered
• Minimum requirement of 72% academic performance
• Capability to work in an industrial environment
• Ensure compliance with safety protocols
